We'll be sure to work with the A B C D and E this week, so our bodies benefit from our deep training - and maybe, if you've got a circle, and like working with it, bring it along. I have some too, so don't buy one especially!
What is the A B C D E? - Some of you will know, but I realised as I was cueing away a couple of weeks ago that I tend to cue five ways to get into the deep stabilisers and work us from the inside out. So I've started to call them the a b c d e of Pilates! The five ways are - Full Body Stretch Mode, Breath, Connection, Anticipation, Resistance. Feeling the training is all important and as we use the a b c d e this week, you can be sure your body will be fit for your daily life because you will have toned and strengthened from the stabilisers to the superficials. And what's so wonderful is, you can actually use these techniques in your every day life and continue to train with no strain ever, whatsoever! Next week's blog'll talk about that a bit more.
