Pilates Comforts Knees

Published on 13th March 2023

Welcome to You All

Please get in touch if you are new to me and would like to join me online, over zoom, or in the room -

Our knees - our stable, strong, active knees - they bend and stretch all day and night, they're hard working darlings aren't they - so, in Pilates this week, let's check in with them big time - in a conscious and caring way - to make sure they're feeling happy and supported - from the inside out, of course........

Knees are our most complicated joint in the body - in all our sessions this week, every part of our body that supports our knees will be found, felt, activated and balanced without any strain anywhere in our bodies, bringing - therapy, toning, strength, comfort and awareness to our knees - using breath, connection, resistance and movement.

Online Pilates - I cue you through and demonstrate every move - contact me and I'll set up your membership - for however long you like.

"Watch a cat, as it lazily opens its eyes, slowly looks around, and gradually prepares to rise after a nap. First, it gradually rises on its hindquarters and then gradually lowers itself again, at the same time sprawling out on the floor, leisurely stretching its forepaws (with extended claws) and legs. Observe closely how all its back muscles actually ripple as it stretches and relaxes itself.... Observe, too, how cats sleep - utterly relaxed whether they happen to be lying on their back, side or belly, Contrology exercises emphasize the need for this constant stretching and relaxing"
