Welcome to You All See you on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week. It's so important to invest in our bodies, even on Bank Holidays! - And isn't it a wonderful thing that investing in our bodies actually costs nothing? Here's a shout out to you all for giving your body moments of thought and connection, awareness and reminders, kindness and persistence, over this spring bank holiday weekend. In class this week, we'll reinvest - and remind our bodies of everything they need. We will breathe, connect and move through every joint, we'll feel the stabilisers, rotators, and move with the movers. We will play and explore the wonders of The Saw. The Saw is one of the thirty-four original Pilates moves. And, as with all Pilates moves, The Saw offers us a full work-out - we'll reap the fruits of this move in our spines, backs, shoulders, arms, hands, hips, abs, legs and feet - this move provides strength, flexibility, mobilisation, length and release - and I'll add in an arabesque or two, so our butts don't miss out on a good work-out. And we'll find all the above, in the room, over zoom, and in the chair sessions, too.
New to Me? Please get in touch email@example.com to join me - online, over zoom, and in the room
Online Pilates This option is open to everyone - there are videos for pain, technique, joints, bones, muscles, core, healing, relaxation, stretching, beginners, advanced, matwork, standing, sitting - and every video is a complete session in itself, you can do as many as you like, whenever you like. I cue you through and demonstrate every move as we go - contact me and I'll set up your membership - to the entire library - for a weekend, week, month or the year. And, for free, google Wendy Jardine Boomerang and join me for my favourite full body advanced move - I build it in discrete parts, making it accessible - my usual style - have a go some time.....

BREATHE CONNECT MOVE
Thank you and best wishes - Wendy
"Watch a cat, as it lazily opens its eyes, slowly looks around, and gradually prepares to rise after a nap. First, it gradually rises on its hindquarters and then gradually lowers itself again, at the same time sprawling out on the floor, leisurely stretching its forepaws (with extended claws) and legs. Observe closely how all its back muscles actually ripple as it stretches and relaxes itself.... Observe, too, how cats sleep - utterly relaxed whether they happen to be lying on their back, side or belly, Contrology exercises emphasize the need for this constant stretching and relaxing"
