Room Sessions at All Saints SE21: FREE PARKING in Lovelace and Rosendale Roads (Parking restricted between Noon and 2 pm only) - you can bring your bikes into the lobby.

Beware that Rosendale Road is now a School Street. Going North, you will receive a PCN if you drive through Rosendale Road at the Lovelace/Rosendale junction between 815 am and 915 am and if you drive between 8 am and 9 am from Dulwich heading south.

The RAD: Our last session of the term is 31st March. This week's Monday session is at the usual time of 1250 and we're in our favourite Jo Manoukian Studio. Please contact me for these Monday sessions. Please apply to the RAD directly for 2025 Easter and summer schools; I am teaching Pilates to Silver Swans, Juniors, Seniors, Exam Intensives and Adults.

Cue the Move: Let me find the right plank for you - if you haven't found one you can visit every day, please ask me.  Try this one, when you're next sitting at your table or desk:  Sit on your chair with your feet on the floor hip width apart, sit tall and place your fingertips under the lid of the table. Breathe deeply and completely getting taller and taller, shoulders relaxed and melted and add a little resistance between your finger tips and the table lid, elbows bent - as if you might "pick up the table!"  No strain, just deep complete breaths, the full length of your spine, the shoulder girdle relaxed and strong, the crown of the head gently drawn to the ceiing and, with that add of resistance with your finger tips, this plank will give your spine all the nourishment it needs, plus tone your shoulders too.  All from the inside out. Core, balance, bones, strength, endurance, heart health, blood pressure, plus all the vital wonders of oxygenation and exhalation.

News: I'm looking forward to seeing you this week and for six consecutive weeks.  As always, please let me know if you want me to address anything in the sessions? Maybe you want to master a move, or target a muscle group, or increase your balance, or release tension, surprise me and I'll lace it in.  By the way, Oliver was fantastic, never before have I seen a "Sikes" cast and directed that way but it was the Dickensian way and the whole production was as awesome as Dickens' writing. Well with Matthew Bourne at the helm, it was bound to be fabulous. Bridget Jones was, as you would expect, brilliant and though I sobbed throughout, there were extremely funny moments too! Stranger Things was an evening of theatrical technical genius and breathtaking effects and Betsy Mayle was beyond marvellous and her first professional role, definitely a name I will be following.  This week's treat, apart from seeing you and doing lots of Pilates, will be seeing SADBOI at Stanley Halls on Friday. Simeon ‘Kardinal’ Campbell, is an incredibly talented dancer and he blends us through a series of unaddressed issues complicated by modern distractions, culminating in an epic neurodivergent unravelling.  I just know I will be mesmerized.
