Warm and Cosy

Published on 29th November 2021

Dearest All,

We have a further 24 Room and 12 Zoom sessions in 2021.

It is cold outside but as I write this I glance up and see the moon right there in the bright blue sky.  A stunning day here in West Norwood.  I taught this morning (Sunday) and then had a wonderful walk bumping into numerous gorgeous dogs.  Such happy dogs, all of them. I believe the dog community were as happy as EV and me, and that it was because the sky was so blue! My son has snow in Cumbria and there's even deeper snow in the Peaks.  All the photos I've received from loved ones are stunningly white but I'd rather keep this side of the wardrobe until we must walk through and embrace our snow's arrival. Keeping warm and cosy is a thing I treasure and I am forever grateful to you for paying my bills. Thank you.

Maintaining safety and keeping warm and cosy

Our PM will make mask wearing mandatory from this Tuesday (30th November), while the scientists assess the situation.  Please feel respected to make your own choice in the room while practising. All sessions are covid secure. As I said, back when, please assume you might be unknowingly covid positive, and so might someone else, and we'll continue on with ease, due to our consistent consciousness. You know that only thoroughly sanitised equipment is used. We have been practising in the room for twelve consecutive weeks (that's 96 sessions) and I would like to continue.....Therefore, please know that I thank you deeply for consistently ensuring our safety and always respecting each other's space. If you're new to room sessions, please note that we are at least a metre away from each other.  It is warm in the room, but please wear cosy layers. The heating is efficient and the overhead lighting adds remarkable warmth, too. There is vital natural ventilation while we work.  So that we can remain warm and cosy in our sessions, and not freeze outside while waiting for a present session to end, IF the wooden door is closed when you arrive, please hesitate not and wave to me straight away through the glass door adjacent to my mat. I will let one of you in, through the glass door, immediately, and I ask you please to make your way to the wooden door and open it for the others arriving for your session, while we complete our present session. Thank you.

Every session this week, whether in the Room, over Zoom, or Online will give us many moments we need to find our deep support systems, as we release our minds and focus on moving freely from the inside out.

The 8 Room Sessions are Standing and Matwork and suitable for all, whether you're advanced, new, or healing. All Room sessions are held at All Saints SE21 8JY on:

Mondays 7 am and 8 am and 930 am

Tuesdays 10 am and 11 am

Wednesdays 8 am and 930 am and 1030 am The 1030am is a Workshop of Barre, Chair and Standing, there is no matwork in the 1030 session. These sessions are thorough and full body and in conversation with our needs of the day.
