Zoom Students and New Students

There is no need to book for Zooms. Please click the link and I'll "admit" you.  No passwords or complicated invitations. The fee is £60 for ten sessions. Sessions are about 50 minutes. New students, hello and welcome, do contact me anytime. And please email me for my bank details.


Some of you may know that, since my son graduated in 2013, I've been a patron of The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and on Friday I was invited to listen to Kenneth Branagh and Ralph Fiennes in conversation with Pamela Jikiemi:Head of Film, TV, and Radio, about their days at RADA and their subsequent careers.  Their conversation and insights are uplifting, enriching and inspiring. The conversation is available this Friday 26th at 8 pm for a tiny donation Click here COVID-19 has hit RADA hard and they urgently need to raise £1.5m to support the students, to invest in their digital video infrastructure, and to build resilience against the continuing impact of the pandemic. You'll be helping RADA by listening to this Zoom conversaton and I am confident that these legendary figures will lift you, as they did me. RADA asked me to share, so this is why I mention it here.

The Online Library

Session 95 is now available.  It is calming, relaxing, mobilising and strengthening, we lie supine throughout this session using resistance: The Isotoner (or a pillow for the pushing and a dressing gown belt for the pulling bits). We, gently and calmly, deeply connect through breath and resistance. We oxygenate, mobilise, release the hips and spine, lengthen the hamstrings and extend through our upper back in supine. We find pelvic stability and engage our outer thighs, as we centre and balance our whole body. We arrange our spines with ease; to feel good, lengthened and relaxed.

"Watch a cat, as it lazily opens its eyes, slowly looks around, and gradually prepares to rise after a nap. First, it gradually rises on its hindquarters and then gradually lowers itself again, at the same time sprawling out on the floor, leisurely stretching its forepaws (with extended claws) and legs. Observe closely how all its back muscles actually ripple as it stretches and relaxes itself.... Observe, too, how cats sleep - utterly relaxed whether they happen to be lying on their back, side or belly, Contrology exercises emphasize the need for this constant stretching and relaxing"
