Pilates' Moves Engage our Core but You Control It

Published on 12th December 2022

Hello

We have one more week! This very week!  We have Room sessions at the usual times at All Saints West Dulwich:

7 am, 8 am and 930 am on Monday 12th

10 am and 11 am on Tuesday 13th

8 am, 930 am and [1030 Chair session] on Wednesday 14th

If you arrive, and the door happens to be closed, please knock, sing, or pull a face through the glass door, and I'll let you in immediately! The space, once inside, is beautifully warm, and I look forward to seeing you.

After this week, we will take a break from each other.  But, if you miss our wonderful work then you know you can always find me online.  I'm here 24/7.  If you've not taken up the offer of £10 for library membership, now to February, then email me, and I'll set it up for you. Over 130 sessions that give you control.

Those of you in our Chair group sessions, here's a list of online videos that reflect our Chair/Barre/Standing sessions

6, 7, 8,13, 31, 39, 40, 60, 72, 92, 93, 94, 97, 111,112,113, 114, 125, 127,128

Remember, every session you do is full body, from the inside out, whether sitting, standing, on the mat, or in bed. Oh, yes!  Pilates on the bed is matwork really, only more sumptuous!  Every session in the library, and beyond into zoom and room, is always us taking conscious control and melting away strains in our bodies.

Thank you for a tremendous year.  We'll resume the whole schedule from the week commencing the 9th January 2023.

Breathe Connect Move

With best wishes and many thanks

Wendy

"Watch a cat, as it lazily opens its eyes, slowly looks around, and gradually prepares to rise after a nap. First, it gradually rises on its hindquarters and then gradually lowers itself again, at the same time sprawling out on the floor, leisurely stretching its forepaws (with extended claws) and legs. Observe closely how all its back muscles actually ripple as it stretches and relaxes itself.... Observe, too, how cats sleep - utterly relaxed whether they happen to be lying on their back, side or belly, Contrology exercises emphasize the need for this constant stretching and relaxing"
