Our Queen

Hello

I realise that for many of you the death of the Queen will have a profound effect on how you feel in this world. She has been Head of State with leadership, constancy, duty, discipline, humour, and ever aware of the narratives and judgement of people who will never walk a mile in her shoes. She appeared to strive on with personal integrity, while tradition, duty and rules were at her heels. She had faith. I know I couldn't have been, or ever be, the woman she was, no way. I'd have run to the hills with my dogs and horses, or said something angry or venomous publicly, and I know for sure I would have been caught on camera having many a Bridget Jones moment along the way. She has modelled being a strong stable working human, while thoroughly challenged. I send you my love and respect, as you come to terms with the changes. She believed with deep faith she was passing through, observing and learning, and I guess all we can do is continue to watch on and learn, as our new King heads the way. The Queen's funeral is on Monday 19th September.

I will Pilates On and be here until Christmas, except there are now no sessions on Monday 19th September.

We're in the Room at all the usual times, at All Saints Lovelace Road/Rosendale Road SE21, on Monday 12th at 0700, 0800 and 0930. On Tuesday 13th at 1000 and 1100. On Wednesday 14th at 0800, 0930 and (Chair 1030). All 55-minute sessions. Equipment and mats are sanitised. If you're thinking of joining us, there are spaces in every session.

Our Monday sessions at The Royal Academy of Dance begin this Monday 12th, we're in Studio 6 and thereafter in the Linbury. Please contact me directly to enrol. Please note that The Queen's funeral is on Monday 19th September and there will be no classes on that day.
